This popped into my head when I was drawing something completely unrelated, and I had to see how it'd work out :x

Something of a cross between a mushroom, jellyfish, squid, and nautilus. Its tentacles are partially transparent, and completely retractable (I think I drew 40 of the alleged 80.)

I liked this species after a random catch saved my bum in an annoying body of water. ..The bizarre useless-beak-claw design throws me off. I rendered it as a cephalopod the one time I tried. Ive not put much thought into the anatomy overall, especially the "gems". I like the fact you put gonads in em, as it gives them an obvious purpose.
(Should I dig some cnidarians outa my sprite collection?! : DD You can never be too prepared!)

I sorrrt of based the beak off a squid beak (I meant it to have a gaping mouth underneath but that's a poor angle to see it from) except huge and while looking at pictures of ant mandibles. So really it's only based on a squid beak, in my heart.
